A new race on the calendar for 2017 is the Wickham 10k.
Starting in Kingsmead, a short walk from the Forestry Commission car park at Upperford Copse, the course takes runners out around the country lanes of the Meon Valley, to the north of the village of Wickham.
After the race there will be a prize giving in the nearby (2 minute walk) Roebuck Inn. We have been given permission to use the car park beyond the normal closing time so your car will be safe until after the presentations at The Roebuck Inn.
Parking is in Upperford Copse Car Park, Heath Road, Wickham. It is a Pay & Display Car Park run by the Forestry Commission. The Start/Finish is also just a 5 minute walk from the car park via the Meon Valley Trail.

My first 10k and I absolutely loved it. Great organisation and friendly people!Any other notes?
More toilets if possible. Had to go au naturel as the queue was so big I thought I'd miss the start of the race!
lovely runAny other notes?
Participants need to be told to park considerately-some v selfish parking such that space was wasted, might also be worth saying people need to bring cash/cost of parking-your may have done this but I missed it! Good experience in general
I thought it was very well organised and plenty of information prior to the run.Any other notes?
I did win my age group category and it was very nice to have a trophy so thank you.
Lovely atmosphere xAny other notes?
Done a few rural running events- always well supported and very enjoyable. Thank you.Any other notes?
Nice day for it, nice course and nice people competitor's and organisers and not forgetting the marshalsAny other notes?
I thought the event was well marshal'd, but the course caught me out a little as it was hillier than I expected but nice weather helped and the motorist played their part respecting the runners throughout, all in all an enjoyable experience thank you
Great small local eventAny other notes?
Well organised, could possibly do with another toilet at the start as I queued for 15mins and there was a large queue behind me near the start time. Nice location with the walk through the woods before the start. Race was undulating, there was more than enough space on the roads to accommodate the number of runners. Lots of marshals and signage was perfect. Very accommodating to new runners and a nice atmosphere.
