Wickham Wine Runs – Race Day Instructions

The Wickham Wine Runs take place on the 15th September 2019. The race starts at 10.30am, following a race brief on the start line at 10.15am.

The Start Line is on the Meon Valley Trail, adjacent to the FREE car park in Station Close. The races finish is in the same place.

All runners must register at the Meon Valley Centre by 10am.

There is no number collection for this run as it is not being timed.


There is free parking at the Wickham Centre and at the free car park in Station Close, alongside the Meon Valley Trail. In the event all the free parking is taken, there is Pay & Display parking in Wickham Square, a 3 minute walk from the start.

Medical Services

We have once again engaged the services of our Medical Team. Please seek their advice if you are feeling unwell before the race. During the race, if there is a medical emergency, the first call should be to the Race Director, on 07472 220433. Please put this number into your phone contacts. In the event you are unable to get an answer, you should seek medical assistance by calling 999.


There will be limited water at the water stations on the course for the 10k runners, but not for the 5k. However, there will be free water at the finish for all runners.

Water stations will be at 2.5k, 5k, and 7.5k

All runners will receive a plastic wine glass when they register at The Wickham Centre. This needs to be carried throughout the race. There will be NO wine glasses at any of the wine stops.


All finishers will receive a medal on the finish line. Please dispose of your wine glass in the bin by the finish line.
